Here is my menu for the upcoming week. I do not always stick to it, but it is a great planning method to keep on track when sticking to a budget or eating healthy. As I have stated previously, I make all of the dough from scratch and alter most recipes to keep added sugar out (or at least to a minimum).
This week was a hectic one with Hurricane Matthew hitting the east coast. I am not sure how we managed it but, thankfully we did not lose power and none of our groceries went bad (Yay!) We actually had a lot of food from the shopping trip last weekend so I was able to plan the menu off of what is already in our fridge/pantry. If you have yet to shop at a wholesale store such as BJs, Sams, or Costco, I would highly recommend this as a way to buy in bulk and save money.
