Here is my menu for the upcoming week. I do not always stick to it, but it is a great planning method to keep on track when sticking to a budget or eating healthy. As I have stated previously, I make all of the dough from scratch and alter most recipes to keep added sugar out (or at least to a minimum).
This weeks menu is based more on budget, the main proteins chosen (Bacon and Shrimp) are on sale this week. Most vegetables are inexpensive and everything else on our (Mark and I) dinner menu this week is on sale (love the Publix app!) Most everything I eat off the menu will not have meat in it. For example instead of a BLT, I will have a sandwich with lettuce, tomato, avocado, cucumbers, and pickles. I did decide splurge for the butternut squash ravioli in an attempt to get into the fall mood (lol at Florida still having ‘real feel’ temperatures in the 100s).
